Committee Opportunities
Membership & Education
Help grow and strengthen the CHPRMS community by identifying new members, planning Coffee & Communications and Lunch & Learn events, shaping our annual education calendar, and supporting speakers and sponsors. This committee plays a key role in defining what makes CHPRMS valuable to both current and future members.
Conference Planning
Work behind the scenes to bring the Annual Conference to life. This team helps coordinate speakers, manage logistics, work with hotels and AV vendors, and ensure every detail comes together for a successful, high-impact event.
Communications
Support how CHPRMS connects with members and the industry. Responsibilities include email communications, social media, website content, content strategy, and maintaining a consistent communications calendar throughout the year.
Sponsorship
Help secure the partnerships that make CHPRMS programming possible. This committee recruits sponsors, supports board members in outreach, serves as the main point of contact for sponsors, and ensures sponsors have a positive and valuable experience.
Awards & Recognition
Play a role in celebrating excellence in healthcare marketing and communications. This team supports promotion of the Wallie Awards, coordinates judges, helps produce the awards presentation, and manages trophies and recognition materials for the Annual Conference.
Volunteer to Serve on the CHPRMS Board
Serving on the CHPRMS Board is a meaningful way to help guide the future of our organization while building deeper connections across the Carolinas healthcare marketing community. Board members play a hands-on role in shaping programming, supporting members, and ensuring CHPRMS continues to grow and thrive.
Board service includes:
Two-year term with the option to renew, pending approval of the Executive Committee
Monthly virtual board meetings, plus one in-person board meeting in August at the Annual Conference location
Service on at least two committees, each meeting virtually once per month
Committee work averaging 2–4 hours per month
Active participation in committee projects that directly support and advance CHPRMS
Board members are expected to be engaged, collaborative, and invested in helping CHPRMS deliver strong education, meaningful connections, and valuable resources for our members.
